Hoosier National Forest - Camping
Camping opportunities within the Hoosier National Forest in Perry County run the spectrum from primitive to highly developed with electric hookups at the site and showers in nearby bath houses.
Reservations for individual campsites and picnic shelters in the Indian-Celina Lakes and Tipsaw Lake Recreation Areas can be made by calling the National Reservation System at 1-800-280-CAMP, (TTY is 1-800-879-4496). See Fee Sheet for current reservation cost.

Occupancy is on a first come, basis, unless previously reserved.

Holders of Golden Age and Golden Access passports will receive a 50% price reduction for services except the electric surcharge for camping and the reservation fee.
An RV dump station with potable water is available free of charge on the east side of state road 37 across from the entrance to the Tipsaw Lake Recreation Area.
Swimming beaches may be found at Tipsaw Lake and at German Ridge Recreation Area.

An annual pass is available, s ee price sheet for current prices. The annual pass is good at either recreation area. All parking areas and boat ramps are open year round. There are no parking fees after 10/15.
Boat ramps are available at Celina, Indian, Tipsaw, and Saddle Lakes as well as Mano Point, located in Derby, IN on the Ohio River.
Camping is also allowed anywhere on National Forest land unless posted to the contrary.
The maximum stay limit at any site whether developed or dispersed camping is 14 days.
