Cannelton High School

Cannelton Community Center - 4th Street
Friday, 6:00 - "Battle of the Bands", $10 fee for bands to compete, $2 entry fee for the dance and Auction of Cannelton's boys varsity basketball team. Saturday - Bake sale, yard sale, concession stand, bingo, scavenger hunt ($10 per tames of 2), beauty pageant (5 per child, categories: 0-1 boy and girl, 1-3 years b & g, 4-6 years b & g, 7-9 years b & g,  10-13 years b & g, talent show ($10 per participating unit, categories,: musical, comedy, drama and instrumental) and games for the little kids. Sunday - Bake sale, yard sale, concession stand, bingo, games for little kids, and raffle. Mrs. Goodrich's and Mrs. Newton's students art, graphic arts and literature will be exhibited. Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and cheese, pretzels and cheese, pizza, popcorn, ice cream, sodas, assorted candy, and more! All proceeds will benefit Cannelton High School Students. Join in the festivities at Rome, nestled on the beautiful Ohio River. You will be able to tour the old courthouse, a historical landmark, and enjoy the famous fried chicken dinners, mashed potatoes, dressing, slaw, green beans, homemade pies, hamburgers, bar-b-que.
