Join in the festivities at Rome, nestled on the beautiful Ohio River. You will be able to tour the old courthouse, a historical landmark, and enjoy the famous fried chicken dinners, home made pies, hamburgers, and BBQ pork, country store, flea market, live entertainment, also an antique display, history and memorabilia or Rome.

On Hwy 66 where the Perry County Dogwood Festival was started in 1962 by Father Eugene Weidman. Starting at 11:00 EST chicken and dumpling dinners will be served with green beans, slaw, relishes, home-made bread, drinks and dessert. 12:00=3:00 tour the 120 year old St. Pius Church. Other activities will include a quilt raffle and bake sale.

See Downtown Cannelton, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Indiana Cotton Mill-a National Historic Landmark. Location of events and yard sales is on Washington St. up around the Perry County Museum. There will be yard sale, crafts, flea market booths, carriage rides, street music, clowns, mimics, bluegrass and gospel music. Also, Photographer Danny Bolin will be having a black and white photo display at the Blue Heron House and Artist Rex Robinson will display and original painting, "Reflections in History", at the Castlebury Inn B&B. Both located on Washington St. with door prizes. The American Motorcycle will be having the Parker Run and then a Motorcycle Show with a raffle of over 100 prizes from 2:00-4:00 Saturday.

Perry County Courthouse Museum will host their annual quilt display. Also, a film documentary on the Electra Plane crash of 1960 will be shown as an anniversary/memorial of the tragic accident. It will be shown both days at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
